Roadtrip to Colorado

In August I took a few days off to road trip to Colorado with my wife and in laws for my cousin-in-law’s wedding. It was the first wedding Anna and I got to attend together since our wedding, and since it was a family wedding, it was such a treat!

We hit the road early on a Thursday morning. We drove through Nevada, and stopped at a few interesting places along the way (a tower, thrift store, etc). Our first night, we stayed in Delta, Utah, and then drove the rest of the way to Grand Junction the next morning. Being on the road for hours upon hours really puts in into perspective how big our world is.

From the desert that is Nevada, to the vast landscapes of Utah, and onto the red rocks of Colorado, we truly live in such a beautiful place.

The wedding took place on Saturday at a ski resort in Grand Mesa. The views were gorgeous, and the wedding even more so. We laughed, we cried, we danced the evening away. It was so lovely to enjoy the wedding with my family and not have to worry about getting all the photos. My favorite part was the anniversary dance Anna and I got to dance in. I love celebrating love, and am so thankful I got to watch Greg and Zoe get hitched.

On the way home, we stopped by the salt flats in Utah. It was really neat! Hope you enjoyed my vacation pics! Cheers

PS. Keep an eye out for a blog post on Monday! This month, I’m blogging every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! Can’t wait to share more photos and fun updates.
