Spencer + Josh’s Wedding

My 2019 wedding season concluded with capturing Spencer and Josh’s intimate wedding on the steps of the Auburn Courthouse surrounded by 10 of their closest family members. The closeness, the intimacy, no bells and whistles- their day was just about them and their love for each other. It was perfect. 

I had the pleasure starting the day by capturing a few candids of them getting ready. From there, we drove to the Auburn Courthouse for a few photos around the property. It started as quite a wet and gray day, but just before the ceremony the rain paused. They got married at the top of the courthouse steps, shared their vows with one another, and had everyone in tears. We snapped a few family photos followed by couples portraits around historic Auburn. I’m so thankful the rain paused for us. The streets were quiet so it felt like we had the placed to ourselves.

More family and friends gathered for a reception at their lovely parent’s home. Delicious polenta, champagne, and other crudities were served. Hugs were exchanged, toasts were given, and it was a beautiful day for them to become husbands.
